Chefs! Front and center! This kitchen is a mess and if you all want a spot in our prestigious academy, you'll need to work together to organize it! We like to shape things up here, to keep you on toes, so be prepared to reorganize A LOT. Well, come on, we don't have all day! Let's move!

Heellloooo, Gamers! So, like probably a bunch of you, I've been doing a bunch of remote gaming over the past few weeks to stay connected with people and give some of my peeps something fun to do together since we're all going a little stir-crazy.
While better days seem to be just ahead, I still wanted to compile a list of the games that work best virtually because, hey, you never know when you might need them! All of these can be played with only 1 person owning the game, and providing the other players with scans/photos of scoresheets, or the players using dry erase boards, paper and pencil, or touch screen devices. Let me know what you've found worked best over video chats, because I'd love to have more ideas handy! Happy Gaming~ Hey there, Gamers! I hope everyone is still staying safe and having some fun gaming at home! I know it isn't always easy, and maybe sometimes you just need to curl up with a book or have a movie night with 10 bowls of popcorn, and that's super cool too! But if you are gaming, I hope it's awesome!
We did a little more virtual gaming this past week and over the weekend we started the Alphabet Gaming Project! Each weekend, each day will be "brought to you by" a different letter of the alphabet, and will exclusively feature games that start with that letter. I've been having a lot of fun with it so far, and plan to do a post about the featured games at the end too! ^__^ Happy Gaming~ Reaction Key ❤️ - Loved It/Always Love It/Favorite 😄 - Liked It/Will Likely Play Again 🤷🏻♀️ - Okay/Take It or Leave It 👎🏻 - Didn't Like/Would Not Play Again 🆕 - New-to-Me Game ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 🎵We've got the whole world in our hands. We've got the whole world in our hands ...🎵 And we have to to make it hospitable! Can you make the perfect regions to be home to pandas, tigers, whales, and more? (not all together, of course...) It's time to build your planet to be the best it can be and earn all the points you can along the way! Howdy solo gamers! Glad to have you here for this post! If you've followed much of what I've written about in the part, you probably know I'm not a huge solo gamer. Partly because I live with my forever gaming partner, and since we work a very similar schedule and have very similar tastes, we usually play together, and partly because I'm very lazy and do not like to take the time to set up a game by myself and for only myself. However, a whole bunch of the games that I own do have solo modes, so over the past few weeks, I've been trying some more of them out to see which ones I like best, and these solo modes hit the top of the charts! Plus, I haven't done a list in quite some time, so I thought this would be a great one!
If you're like me and haven't really been able to get super into solo gaming in general, for whatever reasons, I think this list is a good place to start because the games generally don't have heavy rules, and they have pretty light or easy set up and clean up. The list also features various mechanics, because I've found that these are my favorites that do solo for their "thing" (i.e. roll & write, deck builder, etc.) Moreover, I lean toward solo games that have an objective you're trying to reach (i.e. score X points within X rounds) or compare your score to a scale (to earn you a title) rather than just "record your score and try to do better next time!" So if you're interested in trying some games on your own, check these out, because they're some of my favorites! Happy Gaming~ |
