Hello Gamers! As you may or may not know, PAX Unplugged is coming up quick! For those of you going, I'M SUPER EXCITED TO SEE YOU ALL; SAY HI IF YOU SEE ME! (She said in a definitely not-crazy scream. Cause she's not crazy, and definitely doesn't awkwardly speak in the 3rd person before finally getting back to the point).

For all you first-timers, and maybe some of you bad-packers, I've made a quick survival checklist to help you make sure you've got what you need to be prepared, hopefully avoid con crud, and most of all, have a great time!

Hello Friends!
I had a close friend visit for a few days this week, plus time off work for the holiday, so we got so many great games to the table! Did you play anything awesome this week? What was your favorite game from the last 7 days?
As you might know from my last post (LINK) I'm anxiously awaiting PAXU later this week (hooray for games and more time off work! haha!) so I can't wait to share my recap next Monday (or...maybe Tuesday if the con takes a lot out of me) with all the amazing and hopefully new games that I got to play!

Heyyyyy, Gamers!! It's been another exciting week of playing games and taking names, yay! :D I was able to get a huge paper for school done early, which meant more time for games!!! I got a few favorites to the table, and a couple of newbies.

I'm also going to my parents' house this week for Thanksgiving, so I'm hoping to play a few things I don't normally play with my brothers. What are you hoping to play this week during the holiday?

So, you may remember that last year I made a little Gift Guide to help you find just the right game or accessory for your favorite gamer! It had a few intro games, a few accessories, and everything was under $25! (It's cool, check it out if you haven't, cause it's still awesome - Shameless Plug!)

This year I wanted to go a slightly different direction and do a list with no games on it... WHAT?! Yeah, you heard right. As someone who has a lot (not kidding, a lot) of games, it's hard to tell people what game I want, because that's mostly a list of hard to find or expensive things, and it's hard getting games I didn't ask for because non-gamers don't always know my taste (but I do appreciate the thought!). So, if you have someone like me in your life, here are a few simple gift ideas that might help you get them something they can always use!

You all travelers lookin' for some gold in these here parts? Well, you'll need to look pretty darn hard, but hey, at least you're bound to find some wood, copper, and silver along the way. These all resources are mighty valuable, so use them wisely, and make sure to stay ahead of some of those other pioneers so you can find the best of the best. Head out, it's time to roll west!
