That title's no joke.  Fluxx is a simple, cute game that comes in dozens of different themes to appeal to everyone, BUT it can literally last a quick 5 minutes, or has the potential to go on for a few hours.  Oh, that still sounds interesting to you? Well then... let's continue!!

There are also Action cards, which afford you a variety of opportunities, such as digging through the discard pile for something, Goal cards, which are needed to, ya know, know what you need to do to WIN, Keepers, which help you complete goals, and Creepers, which prevent you from being able to win unless the goal requires them.
Fluxx starts out with some ridiculously simple rules. Draw a card, play a card - that's all! If you can't handle that... I think we might have to go back to CandyLand for a bit... or maybe even that's too difficult. Anyway, I digress.

As you play cards, they can change the base rules, causing you to draw or play more cards per turn, or add completely new rules, like forcing players to say "OH YEAH!" before they can play a card. Fun!

Ubongo: AKA Tetris IRL

Could the title (andthe game for that matter) be more self-explanatory? No, probably not. Am I going to explain it anyway? Yes, indeed I am.

Ubongo is a fairly simple, but pretty nifty game that is, at its corea pretty much just a variation on tetris, but on a table instead of on a phone or computer.  But, it adds in a few extra elements to make the game a little bit more interesting, since you're playing it with other people... I hope... (We've talked about this. Go make some friends, guys, please?).

Anyway, the objective in Ubongo is to take the pieces in the round (determined by the roll of a die) and get them to fit on your board in the exact way so that there's no empty space or pieces hanging off within the time allotted. (A good ol' hour glass hour glass is included in the box to keep time for ya!)

A completed end product! Everything has a place.
