As in, babies punching each other (because they're small boxers) ... not the act of punching babies. Please DO NOT punch babies, kthanks!
Now that that's out of the way - let's talk about this one! If you're into wacky themes and quick card games, then you might want to settle in for a bit and take a look at Punching Babies. All in good fun, this 2-player, turn-based card game simulates 2 heavyweight babies fighting for the gold! Or ... the belt? Or ... whatever heavyweight fighters might fight for!
In this preview I take a look at a prototype of the card game, and highlight its beginnings. Please keep in mind that some things you see/read may change from my copy to the final version (in fact, I know a few things have already been worked on!) Without further ado, let's take a look!
Do you want to play a short, sweet, simple card game that's bound to grow on you? (HA! Puns!) Then it's time to check out Tussie-Mussie. An upcoming Button Shy wallet game all about flowers, this one will teach you a bit about the meanings flowers can have while also providing you with a cute little drafting game. Hey Gamers! A while back (and I mean a while) I made a post with some quick tips to trim a collection! In general, I would still say that those are good suggestions and could definitely be helpful if you're looking for ideas on how to cut out some games.
Unfortunately, I wasn't doing a great job at following my own advice and my fiancé and I were being equally bad influences for the whole situation. Our collection was growing too large with games we didn't really want or need. So, now speaking with a little more experience, here's how we finally got rid of some of those dust collecting games!
With a myriad of game modes and scenarios, high quality components, and adorable art and components, Quodd Heroes is a game that's bound to get a lot of love and a whole lot of table time! It's time to tumble into adventure by picking your characters, each with their own unique abilities and upgrades, and planning your moves as best you can, adjusting and adapting to the elements as you roll. Ready to check it out? Let's Go!
If you're like me, you don't go too many places to play games other than your very own game room. After all, why would you when you can stay home in your PJs and play games all day!
But, for the rare times you do venture outside, you may have, also like me, wished you had a more reliable way to transport games. I've used reusable shopping bags, backpacks, plastic tubs, cardboard boxes, and nothing but my own two (very weak) arms on different occasions.
But now, things are a-changing! I have this rather fancy bag from boardgametables.com designed specifically for carrying board game! That means it has to be a better solution, right? How does it fare, you ask? Let's check it out!
